Amy Prenner is publicity, sales and marketing dynamo, who works like a producer but assumes the role of publicist and corporation communications executive. She brings her insider knowledge of Hollywood and valuable network of contacts to her role as Account Director for Quaintise. With her 20-plus year career working in the entertainment industry, Prenner has overseen some of the biggest and brightest stars in film and television. Prenner has developed an exclusive network of high-level media contacts.  This summer, she launched the premium cable network EPIX handling unit publicity on behalf of the original series “Get Shorty,” starring Chris O’Dowd (Girls, Bridesmaids) and Ray Romano (Vinyl, Everybody Loves Raymond).

A graduate of Boston University, Prenner has handled the season five launch publicity for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she spearheaded many instrumental moments including “Ellen’s Big Meltdown over her Dog,” which raised awareness on pet adoption, the WGA Strike, as well as the Presidential Candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the 2008 election. She has also directed the launch of the network-hit show “The Singing Bee,” for NBC and TLC’s “Big Medicine.”

Prenner has worked to secure placements and awareness at major film festivals for a variety of clients with presence at The Oscars, the Emmys, Television Critics Tour, The Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival to name a few. She has also produced creative Hollywood events at these venues along with the national charities Choice Group, Milk +Bookies, Heal The Bay and Celebrity Catwalk.  She has also served as a unit publicist on EPIX’ upcoming series “Get Shorty,” and has worked on several independent feature films including ”Auggie Rose,” starring Anne Heche and “Speedway Junky,” starring Darryl Hannah.

Prenner has worked with many cable networks including SYFY, GSN Freeform, Travel Channel, USA Networks, AMC Networks, Fuse, WEtv, and The Weather Channel and have launched series on their behalf. She has also worked on the networks side overseeing NBCUniversal where she oversaw “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation,” “America’s Got Talent,” and consulting on their Emmy campaigns.

In addition to her entertainment clients, Prenner has also worked with Universities including UCLA Extension, Santa Monica College and Fuller University. She has also handled the Women’s Breast Center of Santa Monica and helped to introduce their state-of-the-art mammography machine, Beverly Hills Dentist Dr. David Keen and several medical charities including RSRT. She has also represented several hospitality and restaurant brands. She reunited with Robert Kass of the Kass Bah to help launch The Larchmont Grill and helped create buzz around the opening of Il Piccilo Verde in Brentwood. She has also worked with the critically acclaimed Church & State bistro in downtown Los Angeles as well as Joe’s in Venice. She also launched the coffee table book “Liquid Vacation,” by P Moss, the owner of the Double Down Saloon and Frankie’s Tiki Room in Las Vegas.

When she is not promoting the projects and clients she believes in, Prenner can be seen at her home away from home: the tennis court.

Prenner is married and lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and son.
